Malia Sanchez is the creator and founder of Makana Esthetics Wellness Academy.  The company was founded in January 2007. She has been actively working in the beauty field since 1992. Malia’s experience in all aspects of the beauty field motivated her to create her own practical techniques to ensure luxurious facials treatments and a teaching style that motivates individuals to achieve their fullest potential.  Malia has discovered throughout her years in the industry that she is happiest when she makes a difference in someone else’s life. Teaching for Malia is sharing her knowledge as a professional in her field, guiding people in the right direction and nurturing individuals so they have complete confidence in their skills. Her experience and ties within the Esthetic Industry give Makana’s students the knowledge and exposure they need to start their own careers.
